Let us all move towards villages and by building our villages, build our Nation.
Nature has given three major bounties to man. Water ,Land and Forests.
Various projects of the Trust have resulted in villagers becoming aware of these resources. Farmers are given small and reasonably priced farm equipment and they are also given training to use them.
Through appropriate technology, farming was given a practical and scientific approach.
Through the medium of KRUSHAK MANDAL , farmers were encouraged to develop the attitude and spirit of meeting each other and sharing their experiences. Emphasis is laid on activities like Farmers Fairs to educate the farmers about latest techniques and scientific experimentation taking place in the field of agriculture.
Farm based wealth increased with use of latest farm equipment, knowledge of technology, increased productivity, animal husbandry, organic farming and land enrichment projects.
Forests and the soil are being protected by using traditionally and locally grown seeds. Importance of locally available herbs in life, judicious use of natural resources and to conserve biodiversity is explained to the people at grass root level.
Under this programme of YUVA CHETANA JAGARAN , the Trust has done the great work of developing renewed spirit among rural youth.
The Youth is made to understand that true sustainable development is the development of the Nation through development of villages.
The Trust has considered its duty to remove the feeling of helplessness from women and to create in them the feeling of self respect.
Training for developing various skills like, sewing and stitching, cooking, glass painting, mehendi, rakhi making, computers etc, is being imparted by the Trust. After getting such training and after becoming self reliant, women develop a sense of empowerment and feel secure.
Training and preparations of various items from NAGLI , a nutritious cereal grown in DANGS is also made part of the project for women.
