With the help of the "seva karyakartas" of the Surat city, we have selected 1000 families from the surrounding 10 sevavasties-slum areas. Health awareness programs are conducted for them. Primary health & hygiene education and free primary health services are provided to them. Besides, effort is being made to socialize with them & bring them together on a platform through programs on Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti, Raksha bandhan, Bharatmata poojan etc.

A medical mobile unit with a doctor, a helper and at least one volunteer, visits these sevavasties to provide medical facilities to the people of the area and keep in touch with these 1000 families and also works to promote social & national awareness & the spirit of patriotism.

The unit also provides equipment useful to the bedridden and orthopedically challenged people, free of cost. Patients & families availing of these facilities are visited and a sincere effort is made to share their pain & sorrow.

The mobile clinic & a permanent clinic near the sevavasti has been successful in establishing and increasing our relations with many families and in creating health awareness among them.
